Bingke Cake

Looking for a sweet and savory snack? Try making this Pontianak-style Kue Bingke, MamaKoKo style!

Ingredients:

  • 4 packs MamaKoKo coconut milk
  • 200 gr granulated sugar
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 4 pandan leaves
  • 80 gr flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Vegetable oil to taste

How to cook:

  1. Mix MamaKoKo coconut milk, salt, vanilla powder, granulated sugar and pandan leaves into the container
  2. Stir and cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves
  3. Strain and let stand until the mixture is not too hot
  4. Then, pour the flour and stir until evenly distributed. Then, mix the eggs one by one and stir again. After that, strain
  5. Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil and heat it for less than 1 minute before putting the batter in
  6. Pour the batter and bake until almost cooked thoroughly
  7. Before it is fully cooked, transfer the batter to the oven at 180°c until the surface of the batter is fully cooked and remove it from the oven

How to serve:

  1. Wait for the batter to cool. Transfer to a plate
  2. Cut the dough into smaller sizes for easy eating
  3. Bingke cake is ready to be served
