Mung Bean Starch Cake with Jackfruit

For 5-7 slices


  • 90 gr mung bean flour & starch.
  • 100 gr tapioca pearls
  • 120 gr granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 50 ml MamaKoKo coconut milk
  • 600 ml water
  • 100 gr jackfruit

How to make:

  1. First, boil 100 grams of tapioca pearls. Add water every time it boils until you can’t see the white part inside the tapioca pearls. After that, remove and drain
  2. Second, put 120 g sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 50 ml MamaKoKo coconut milk mixed with 450 ml water and 90 g mung bean flour & starch into the pot
  3. Stir until smooth and cook over low heat while stirring constantly. Then, add the boiled tapioca pearls and stir until smooth
  4. Put the dough into a mold and let it rest until it becomes solid and cold
  5. Cut 100 gr jackfruit into small pieces and make the topping for the cake.

How to serve:

  1. Prepare a container that has been given a banana leaf sheet
  2. Place the molded cake onto the container
  3. Mung bean starch cake with jackfruit is ready to eat
