Every year on June 5, World Environment Day is celebrated. Not wanting to be left behind, PT NICO also participated in the commemoration of World Environment Day organized by the North Halmahera District Environment Office. The event took place on June 7, 2024, at the North Halmahera Local Government Environment and Forestry Office.

The commemoration of World Environment Day was also attended by the Vice Regent of North Halmahera, Head of the Environment and Forestry, and other environmental activists. Various activities were carried out in this commemoration, such as picking up trash around Tobelo city, planting 50 trees in the government area, and continued with talk shows and sharing sessions.
