Putu Mayang

Putu Mayang Ingredients:

  • 7 pcs MamaKoKo coconut milk
  • 200 gr rice flour
  • 5 tbsp full tapioca flour/starch
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Red color pandan paste

Kinca Sauce Ingredients:

  • 6 pcs MamaKoKo coconut milk
  • 150 gr palm sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • A pinch of salt
  • Pandan leaves

How to Cook Putu Mayang:

  1. Aduk sampai larut. Add 7 pcs MamaKoKo coconut milk, rice flour,  granulated sugar, and salt. Stir until dissolved
  2. When the mixture has dissolved, turn on the stove over low heat and continue stirring until it thickens
  3. After the dough has thickened, the dough can be moved inside and wait until it comes to room temperature
  4. When the dough is room temperature, you can add tapioca flour and stir until the dough is smooth.
  5. Separate the dough into 2 parts and give pandan paste and red dye and stir the dough until the colors are evenly mixed.
  6. After mixing well, put the dough into a piping bag and cut a small corner of the plastic to remove the dough that you want to print.
  7. Print the dough on baking paper like a noodle roll
  8. Steam the molded dough for 10 minutes, then cool and remove from the parchment paper and store in a container.
