The international beverage and food exhibition, The Global Food Marketplace or Salon Internasional de l’alimentation (SIAL Interfood) was successfully held from 9-12 November 2022. Taking place at JIExpo Kemayoran, this exhibition aimed to develop the potential of Indonesia’s culinary business.
More than 750 companies from 27 countries have participated in the 2022 SIAL, making it even more special as it is being held again after almost three years of absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only food, visitors can also see various types of cooking equipment such as bread makers, ice cream machines, and packaging for food and drinks. The SIAL exhibition is the perfect place to promote Indonesian food and drinks that have the potential to be known by foreign countries. One of the participants in SIAL Interfood is PT NICO.
Seeing Indonesia as the largest coconut-producing country in the world, PT NICO–a company that produces a variety of processed coconut products–was also present at SIAL 2022 with products that have international standards, ranging from virgin coconut oil, coconut flour, coconut chips, MamaKoko coconut milk, to the newest CocoClub pure coconut water.
Through this exhibition, PT NICO seeks to provide solutions to national and international business partners who need a variety of products in the coconut category. Previously, PT NICO had also actively promoted various coconut-based derivative products through other international-scale exhibitions such as BIOFACH at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre in Germany and the largest international F&B exhibition in Asia, Food and Hotel Asia (FHA) Singapore.
