However, not many realize that sitting too much can have serious health impacts.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main impacts of prolonged sitting is an increased risk of health problems, such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease and even cancer. It can also lead to posture problems, back pain, and other issues. When a person sits for a long time, the body&#8217;s muscles tend to become weak and stiff, blood circulation becomes obstructed, and the body&#8217;s metabolism decreases.<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that sitting for too long can also have a negative impact on your mental health? People who tend to spend long hours sitting have a higher risk of experiencing stress, anxiety and depression.
