TANJUNGPINANG, SURYAKEPRI.COM – Bintan Regency, Riau Islands (Kepri), continue to shipped organic coconut milk to Germany. It is the result of farmers who are processed by PT. Bionesia Organic Foods (PT.BOF).
Kali ini Bionesia mengekspor santan organik dalam kemasan kaleng sejumlah 49,4 ton tujuan Jerman dengan nilai Rp1,3 miliar. This time, Bionesia exported 49.4 tons of Cans organic coconut milk to Germany with a value of Rp1.3 billion.
“This is the third export of coconut milk from PT. BOF in 2020. So far, the total is 107.8 tons, which has a value of Rp. 2.6 billion, based on quarantine data in the IQFAST system,” Head of Tanjungpinang Agricultural Quarantine Donni Muksidayan, Friday (17/4/2020).
“In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world, our agricultural commodities being able to export to Germany is a blessing for our farmers who should be grateful, so that the welfare of farmers gets better from time to time,” he said.
Tanjungpinang Agricultural Quarantine continues to serve certification of agricultural commodities to be trafficked to ensure the safety and health of reliable agricultural commodities so that they are well received by destination countries.
Before being processed and exported, the Tanjungpinang Agricultural Quarantine first conducted a physical examination of the raw material for coconut milk in the form of old crested coconut purchased by PT. BOF from coconut farmers around the Riau Islands Province.
In accordance with the mandate of Law no. 21 of 2019, PT. BOF also reports its processed coconut products to be exported to Germany to the Agricultural Quarantine officials.(*)
