In the spirit of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan, PT NICO Tobelo held a communal iftar on March 8, 2026. This event served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among employees and foster a sense of unity within the company.
The event was attended by Mr. Nanang, General Manager of PT NICO; Mr. Bambang, Assistant General Manager of UHT; Chandimal, Assistant General Manager of Non-UHT; and Mr. Edeng, General Manager of Pancang. Additionally, the event was attended by managers, assistant managers, and a combined team from Jakarta and Pancang.
A sense of togetherness was palpable from the very start of the event. Participants first enjoyed an appetizer of dates and guraka, a traditional drink from North Maluku known for its warming and refreshing properties after a day of fasting.
The event then continued with a short religious talk delivered by Mr. Nanang. As the time for breaking the fast approached, the prayer to break the fast was led by Mr. Bambang, followed by all the participants in attendance. After that, all the invited guests enjoyed the moment of breaking the fast together, followed by a social gathering, while enjoying the various dishes that had been prepared.
