Spicy Coconut Milk Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 500gr beef meatballs
  • 7 pieces of MamaKoko coconut milk 65ml
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 pieces of lime leaves
  • 1 stalk of lemongrass
  • 3 pieces of galangal
  • Palm sugar
  • Chicken stock powdered
  • Salt

Ground spices:

  • 6 shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 candlenuts
  • 1 turmeric
  • 1 ginger
  • 1 aromatic ginger
  • 150gr red cayenne pepper & curly red chilies

How to make:

  1. Fried shallots, garlic, candlenut, ginger, turmeric, and aromatic ginger until brown
  2. Grind until smooth the spices that have been fried before and add salt
  3. Boil red cayenne pepper and curly red chili, then drain
  4. Grind the red cayenne pepper and curly red chili until smooth
  5. Fry the ground spices in hot oil until fragrant and dry, add the chili that has been mashed before
  6. Add the lime leaves, bay leaves and lemongrass to the fried spices
  7. Enter the meatballs, add salt and sugar and powdered chicken broth
  8. Add Mama Koko’s coconut milk, stir until well blended
  9. Spicy coconut milk meatballs are ready to be served
