Thai Tom Kha Gai

Tom Kha Gai, a Thai soup with savory, creamy, and slightly sour taste from lime makes this dish so appetizing. Let’s try cooking it at home with MamaKoKo Coconut Milk, the coconut milk of choice for more authentic and creamy taste.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces of chicken wings
  • 250 gr mushroom
  • 1 pcs MamaKoKo coconut milk
  • 850ml water
  • 5 cloves shallots to taste
  • 1 large tomato cut into slices
  • 1 galangal segment
  • 3 orange leaves
  • 2 lemongrass stalks crushed
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp coriander
  • 8 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 red chillies
  • 5 coriander leaves

How to cook:

  1. First, pour a little water and add 5 shallot cloves, 1 galangal segment, 3 lime leaves, 2 lemongrass stems crushed, 3 lime leaves, and 3 red chili peppers
  2. Stir. Once it starts to smell, add 850ml of water, then add 1 tbsp white sugar, 4 tbsp soy sauce, and stir again until it boils
  3. After it boils, add 4 pieces of chicken wings cut into small pieces, 250 gr mushrooms and stir until evenly distributed
  4. Add 1 pcs MamaKoKo coconut milk and stir again until it boils
  5. When it boils, add tomato slices, 5 cilantro leaves and 8 tbsp fish sauce, then stir again until evenly distributed
