When it comes to takjil, of course, biji salak or sweet potato balls in palm sugar is one of the favorites for many people to enjoy during Ramadan. How to make biji salak is quite easy so you can make it yourself at home and enjoy it with your family.
Ingredients:
- 5 tbsp granulated sugar
- 500 g mashed sweet potato
- 100 g tapioca starch
- 500ml water
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 150 g palm sugar
- 1 pandan leaves
- 1 pcs MamaKoKo coconut milk
How to make:
- Put 5 tbsp of sugar and the steamed sweet potato into a container. Puree
- Add tapioca flour to the dough
- Knead until smooth and shape the dough into rounds. Sweet potato balls are ready to be cooked
- For the sauce, add water and 100g of sugar, palm sugar, pandan leaves. Cook until boiling
- After boiled, add the sweet potato balls and cook for 20 minutes.
- When the sweet potato balls float, means they are cooked. Remove and pour into a bowl.
- Add MamaKoKo coconut milk over sweet potato balls
