Wingko babat, also known as wingko, is a traditional Indonesian food, which is round and cut into small pieces with a soft and fragrant texture. The combination of sugar and coconut make wingko babat is delicious to eat, especially when served warm.
Ingredients:
- 250 grams white glutinous rice flour
- 180 grams steamed grated coconut
- 100 grams granulated sugar
- 100ml MamaKoKo coconut cream
- 50ml water
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp vanilla powder
- 1 pandan leaf
How to make:
- Put coconut cream, water, sugar, salt, vanilla powder, and pandan leaves into a saucepan. Stir until dissolved. Boil until slightly boiling. Remove from heat.
- Prepare a container. Add glutinous rice flour. Pour coconut cream little by little into the glutinous rice flour. Mix well.
- Add in steamed grated coconut. Stir until well mixed.
- Grease Teflon with oil.
- Transfer the dough onto the Teflon. Cut according to taste.
- Bake the wingko on low heat until cooked. Flip the other side. Bake until evenly cooked. Remove and serve.
