White Sticky Rice Bugis Cake

Intent Ingredients:

  1. 300 gr of grated young coconut
  2. 150 gr of brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 50 ml of water
  5. 1 pandan leaf


Main ingredients:

  1. 500 gr of white glutinous rice flour
  2. 100 grams of granulated sugar
  3. 80 ml of oil
  4. 100 ml of water
  5. 6 pcs MamaKoko coconut milk
  6. 1 tsp salt
  7. 2 pandan leaves


How to cook coconut inten:

  • Cook 150 gr brown sugar, 1 tsp salt, 50 ml water, 1 pandan leaf and stir until it boils
  • Then add 300 grams of grated coconut, cook the brown sugar in the pan, then stir until dry and blend
  • If it is dry, lift and separate. Heat the banana leaves so that they are stronger and do not tear easily


How to cook bugis cakes:

  • Put in a saucepan 100 gr sugar, 1 tsp salt, 100 ml water, 6 pcs MamaKoko coconut milk and 2 pandan leaves
  • Cook the ingredients until boiling
  • Prepare a large container, then add 500 grams of white glutinous rice flour and slowly add the cooked coconut milk while stirring.
  • If it is evenly distributed, add 80 ml of oil and stir until evenly distributed
  • Stir the dough by hand until it becomes lumpy
  • Take the dough and then flatten it to add coconut fiber to the dough, repeat until it runs out
  • After that, put it in a banana leaf that has been smeared with a little oil and shape the banana leaf like a cone. Repeat everything.
  • Put it in the boiling steamer and steam for 25 minutes
